Seriously, I've been meaning to put this up for days now. I did a whole bunch of designs on acrylic nails so I could showcase my work to a particular nail salon that I wanted to hire me. Sadly, it turns out that nail designs aren't really in demand for that shop, so they weren't interested in hiring me at all, but at least I can share it on LJ!
...this is a phase, I swear it's a phase... I need to focus on skills that make money ^_^;;;;;;;;
Marble heart :D This didn't come out as good as it could have, but you have to be really quick to catch the heart shapes before they dissolve, so this was the best I could get on short notice.
This is the flower + rhinestone from the Arashi nails I did earlier, just a neater version. And on the topic of neater versions of designs I've done before:
This one is a really elaborate one too!
I'm finishing up with the flower designs in a sec and moving on to the cute ones, don't worry!
This was the one from the tutorial I linked last time- I did it! I probably could have done it better, and I probably will now that I have the tools for it.
Nail stamps, easier to see than last time I posted them. Plus new stamps ♥
This is a different technique that I'm trying- it's based on marbling, except you do it *on* the nail- you put on a thick base coat, and while it's still wet you put drops of other colors on top and drag a toothpick through them to make designs. It's cute, but I don't see a lot of use for it.
OKAY, NOW ON TO THE CUTE THINGS ^_^
All of these designs are drawn by hand:
And my favorite:
If I ever meet Nino I'm wearing this one 8D
A size reference:
(For Americans, that's about the size of a dime, for non-Americans, I don't know ^_^;;; it's about 1 cm diameter, does that help?)
Anyway, I plan to post an actual blog with actual talking some time soon, I have stuff to share, but right now my brain is completely fried. See you!
