Sometimes you read something that sticks with you and makes you think, and you end up realizing later that your not the only one whos brain burns with the thought.
Michael Ruhlman wrote a Blog post about the decline and possible demise of
Molecular Gastronomy. The artical is more about how the Chefs associated with it disagree with the term used to describe what they do.
But the responses to the post were varied and some heated. Michael is on a Vacation and has invited Bob Del Grosso to guest blog while hes away. Chef del Grosso took the ball and ran with it some more.
His entries about a
response Michaels original post and his
follow up post about the subjects only acts like pouring a gallon of gas on the small crackling fire in the back of my brain, to turn it into a raging bonfire of questions and thought.
So Im going to just enter this here as a reminder to myself to dive into this at a later time, but for now.. we have
Corn Stock to tackle!
