late night muse-ramblings... muselings
Burning the midnight oil once again. After reading Emerson, I'm now taking more indepth notes on it. Not as much fun as it sounds, really.
Today my dad offered me a kitten. Or two. He has approximately 10 kittens right now. They are fluffy and perfect and I want one so badly. Kittens just make life better and they aren't needy like dogs. I like pets that are self-sufficient, territorial, and moody. And yes, I realize that this sounds like me ;)
In a couple weeks we're going to paint the bedroom blue, and possibly the guest bedroom a pale shade of green. I found a fantastic bargain for curtains at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for the den. Our little place is starting to feel like a real home, much more so than the death trap we spent our first two years in. We really are happy here, settling in; being content with living arrangements is a very grand thing.
