Nate's a fag. Anyway, beautifully put dude but you forgot about your preconscious brotha (PC, why the fuck not). Thats what makes you turn on your turn signal and thats why you can go through a day's work and forget specific details (about that work day)when you get home. At Domino's its like an assembly line, I just throw toppings on a circle and put it on a conveyor belt but I couldn't tell you one pizza I made last night. My PC took over once I put an apron on. The point is...this could cause you to act a certain way once you "hear a chime". And mixing this idea with your obvious thoughts and feeling in the SC is just too much to try and win over by a lousy concious promise.
SOLUTION

I'm telling you time is the only thing. In your position not talking is harder than you think. You will romanticize her (in this context, romanticized will be used as "over-positively displaying her image in your head"). However, it will save you from the depressing aftermath of an awkward conversation. Try not to find out who shes hooked up with either, because then you're just trying to feel sorry for yourself without even noticing. Just don't make any promises to yourself and don't try to avoid her. Let the fucking chips fall where they may.
