Classes officially started today - and since the labs don't open until next week, I had only one class on the schedule.

God, I feel like such a putz: class at 9:00 and I woke up at 8:50. Had no freaking time for brushing my teeth, and absolutely no time for breakfast. Thing is, my alarm clock works, insofar as it rings. But I have learned to tuned it out. Guh. So with already no time to walk to Sackett, I hastily threw on some clothes and rushed out of my dorm. Only to find that it was raining.

So there I was, squeaking along the path in my bath sandals. I noticed about five minutes into my walk that my path was identical to that of the woman in front of me... (imagine walking five minutes in front of some loser with annoying squeaking shoes.) Another two minutes of squeaking, and I decided to catch up to her and talk; it turned out that she was a junior in my exact class. Jenny, by the way.

After the class, we talked some more and went downtown together.

J: I think... I think I've seen you somewhere before, but I can't place it. What school did you go to?
Me: NEHS and UHS?
J: No bells - er... do you have a twin sister?
M: *thinking: WTF?!*
J: Yeah! We used to go to the chinese school together! In Hockessin, Delaware! (Meaning pre-5th grade for me. @O@) I have a sister, Jess.
M: wtfwtf. *still doesn't remember*
M: ...

And then I remembered.

M: ! You're the vegetarian person!!!

So yeah. Small, small world. Not every day something like this happens - kind of reminds me of how Stacey and Henry both attended the same grade school/kindergarten in Japan (or summat) and later both attended NEHS. So freaking weird.
