The press will soak it up.
Flashbulbs fire and Skandar sees flashes of light behind his eyelids.
“You’re my best friend.” William whines, looking up at him through messy straw-like hair.
The pose will make him beautiful.
Skandar looks at the sprawling boy on the floor and says nothing
William’s breath pant pants on Skandars’ neck.
The gasps echo in the empty room.
Skandar swallows the sounds with his tongue.
“It didn’t mean anything.” William pleads, avoiding his eyes.
The boy will try to pretend.
Skandar shrugs his shoulders and walks away.
