You made me smile again.

Even though I have yet to meet someone who would tell this to me straight to my face, I have some reason to believe that I am a monster.

(Or at least I know I'm capable of being one. Case in point: I've already FO'ed two people before I hit sophomore year in college)

I'm not a very likable person, I concede. As in the words of my friend Stan when he went on air this afternoon: if I were a separate person and I happened to meet me, I'd prolly be annoyed with myself as well.

Generally I try my best to be nice. It's not that apparent though because life sucks and threatens to kill me before I reach 30. So can I just say how marvelous it felt to receive a very kind motivation to be a better person from a very good friend today. I was practically moved to tears.

"I think people need to know that they are awesome and we often forget to thank the people in our lives." (Albiso, 2011)

It's true. I've been so caught up with so many things I've forgotten the power of a simple thank you, for the people who've helped me go through tough times and for those who just make life so much bearable.

I know, I know, I tend to be too dramatic sometimes. But I needed that, seriously.

It just started with simple query about a light bulb. But that meant a lot to me. So here's a big thank you, Honey Albiso. No, you're awesome. :)
