There used to be a one-panel cartoon in the Asbury Park Press in the late eighties-early nineties. I don't know whether it was local or syndicated, and don't know the name of the artist. It was called Counter Culture and ran in the Food section. I have a few of them stored in my head, and I reproduce my favorite here, for your amusement.
