Registration ramblings

I'm so ready for this semester to be over. And it sucks because we're pretty much supposed to be getting in gear for all the final projects, and I really haven't done anything. At all, really.

Still need to change my major.

But hey, I got into all the classes I wanted to. Well, that's a lie. I wanted to get into the Writing Workshop: One-Act Play, but it's "signature required," and I can't be bothered to figure out how to get Lehane's signature when he's not even on campus. So I signed up for Lit/Art of the Great War instead. This means I'll be taking two literature class next semester; the other class is Contemporary American Poetry.

Thankfully, I was able to get into Lehane's other class: Advanced Fiction. It's a writing workshop too, like his other class. It'll be sweet to take a class with Lehane again; Stark is an asshole.

My last class is a poetry workshop. Not too enthusiastic about it, but I need it for my intended major, so I gotta suck it up.

Not too enthusiastic about the other poetry class I'll be taking either, but at least it's contemporary poetry and not like Alexander Pope stuff. Q knows what I'm talking about.

But all in all, my schedule is looking pretty sweet. I have Mondays and Fridays off, two classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and one class on Thursdays. And my earliest class is at 11:30.

Granted, I'm gonna be in class on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 9:30, but a four day weekend? How amazing is that gonna be?

Oh, and I got into Hymns to the Goddess for Winter Term. I was hard-pressed to find a class that would even compare to the miracle that was Science Fiction in Latin America & Spain, but Hymns doesn't seem too bad. It meets only twice a week ;-)
