(no subject)
Still no electricity at the house. The boyfriend's aunt and uncle were kind enough to house us for the night (and most of the day yesterday/ probably today too if it doesn't come back around). I feel bad for our dog. We go back to the house to see him and play with him for ten minutes or so, and let him go out to go to the bathroom every couple hours but he stays in the spare bedroom (cold, but only like 35F cold). We set him up so his kennel has blankets in it and covering it so he can go in it and stay warm... I don't know how much he actually goes in it since he doesn't like being cooped up in that thing, but the door on it is open so maybe he'll be more keen on sleeping in it. He's got his jacket on and he has a couple of chew toys in there but it's got to be really boring by himself. He can't be here with us because of his aunt and uncle's dogs... Every hour that passes, I pray the electricity will be back on by the time we go back again to let him out and I'm always disappointed.
I have to work tonight, but it's the evening shift and I know no one is going to be coming out to shop past 9 (we're open till 11... on a Sunday, yay!) so it's going to be another ling, boring night. Believe it or not, I'm planning on doing most of my Xmas shopping on xmas eve. Crazy, right?
