Challenge time again!

We only had the one response to that last challenge, despite my complete ineptitude in leaving it longer. Just in case, honest. ;)

So let's move along and see what we can come up with for By Any Means Necessary and/or Signs And Portents. This challenge is open for two weeks, and I'll post a reminder next weekend.
