Sunday
I woke up at 6:20 (earlier then I do for school) to take down the mobil stage. An hour and a half of physical labor, after four hours of sleep and before I could really wake up. It was good though, I didn't get paid, because I already turned in my time card, but I enjoy my work so much I would do it for free anyways. That was cool, it's a huge trailer that has a stage that folds out. Then I went home and slept till 12:56 (4 minutes before I was supose to be at the IPAB (our school theater). I scarffed down a pb&j- which equals my complet breakfast and lunch and road my bike over.
Steven tricked me!
Trick #1- He said that the light designer for Tony Feilds should do the lights for a dance concert yesterday, but it really didn't have to be so. Anyone who does light scould have done it.
Trick #2- He said that all I would have to do is set a light look and then I could leave (just a few hours). But I ended up staying eight hours, because he didn't leave anyone there to run light board, so I had to stay. Well I could have left Nate to run lights, but he was already running sound and I didn't want to leave it all on him. The show was pritty cool though it was a form of dance and music from Northern India called Kathak. There were these three women in these beautiful viberantly colored outfits dancing, with a man singing and playing this accordian/organ looking instrument and a guy playing a pair of some sort of drums. It sort of helped me on my fatty research paper on Rumi.
But yea, balls. I got home at 9 and had dinner, did an amense amount of homework and slept 5 hours, which brings me today.
Monday
I was a peasant slave to my teachers love of schoolday torcher. But after school was good times. We made plans for prom. I am going with Matt, Kate and possibly Ryan and we are eating at a table with a friend from stage craft and her two best buds. I'm excited, I can't wait to get my beautiful dress and get all did up. Prom should be fun. Then after I figured out what gel we needed, Kate, Matt and I drove to STL and gots them, while stopping at DQ to get some blizzrads. Today was pritty good. I can't believe it is just Monday. The rest of the week is STAR testing, so I get out of school hellza early. I'm going to be working in the theater on Tony, which opened this Friday. EVERYONE SHOULD COME WATCH TONY!!!! I gots me some allergy medication, so hopefully I will be able to sleep and function better over all. Yup, off to tomarrow. So long and good night.
