Ungh, I just finished an assignemnt a week before it was due, and it wasn't even reallly what I was meant to be doing ... I should have been doing tutorial questions for the discussion forum. Whatever, the only difference is I answered two more questions and didn't post anything. I'll do it later.
Um, I'm hungry.
Work is going good, I had my 30 day review yesterday so I got to meet the country manager, Chris and we went and had coffee and chatted. It was nice. Even better, my primary KPI's are at 66% and most people in their first month are lucky to hit 33% and my secondary KPI's are at 50% but she's not sure if that's actually supposed to be 75% ... I don't really get it, something about how at Cathedral you can't do some things but you can at Armagh, but I'm under Cathedral's KPI structure which means my secondary KPI should be 75%. Chris is going to sort it all out, so that's fine. But yeah, she said she was very impressed with how I'm going, and that Megan and Teresa have nothing but good things to say. Awesomes.
I went to the optometrist this morning, good news is my reading glasses are still good, bad news is my other pair aren't. So, new lenses (progressive so I don't have to keep changing glasses)/new frames (cos I hate the old ones) and a $680 bill. Also, apparently you're supposed to be able to focus clearly on something until it's an inch in front of you, I lose it at about a foot away (with glasses, a foot and a half without) so now I have to do 'eye strengthening exercises" which mostly involves staring at a pen and moving it towards me until I can't see, rinse and repeat up to 10 times a day. Can you tell how enthusiastic I am about this? o.o And then when I was telling her about how some days neither pair helps me to see and life pretty much fails, she tried to tell me that I don't take enough breaks from whatever I'm doing. Which is just silly, cos my life is one long break.
Andrew (the optician) and I did have fun picking out frames though. I think I tried on every pair in the store.
I got Sweeney Todd last week and I still haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Maybe tonight.
Jenny and Jason are moving back to the flat Jenny was in before she moved in here, but I haven't been told this yet. I dunno when, but I can't wait even if it means having to break in new flatmates. I'm sick of choking on smoke when I walk into the hallway, even if the door's been open all day. I feel sorry for the next person in that room.
Everyone is getting sick so I don't want to be their friend at all ever. I don't want to get sick, cos knowing my luck, I'll still be sick in a month and that would have so much fail attached to it.
Yesterday we had lots of hail and sleet and some places had snow. Nifty.
Gladiator is about to start so I'm gonna grab food.
