101. I am aching for a touch or a taste.

I am very glad that it's the weekend. I forgot how much working all week sucks. Today was good, we've just spent the last few days going through this massive folder (about as big as Westpacs, Liss) which is boring as hell but has to be done. The other day I did the cash count at the end of the day (and managed not to bugger it up but shit it felt like it took forever. Turns out I don't actually think when I count Aussie dollars, but I fail at every other currency even if it's the same denominations). Today I did the banking and all the transfers, which is just telling the computer that I did the banking. Next Wednesday-ish I start serving customers but I'm gonna push for not until Thursday cos there's a lot we just haven't had time to cover. And then the week after I'm all on my lonesome. Literally, Cathedral is a one man branch. Fridays are the only days I work with someone, the other 3 I'm all by myself. On the upside, I don't have to work next Monday.

Just when we thought it was all settling down, there's been more drama with Jenny and Jason. Toni got up to get a drink last night fairly late to find them smoking cigars in the lounge, and it's supposed to be smoke free inside the flats - as you would expect! It stank all through the hall and the living areas, so we had the front door open for a while this morning, which was bloody cold but better than choking. Toni was going to talk to them about it when she got home from school cos obviously I left well before they got up and she wanted to deal with it before she went home for the weekend. I dunno if she did or not, I think she's already left for Timaru. We've thought for a little while that Jenny's been smoking in her room cos it often stinks in the hall, but we didn't really have anything to back it up, but if we notice it again now, we're going to go to Judy cos we don't have to put up with this crap.

And now I'm starving so I'm going to go find something for dinner.

flatmates suck, work
