Trial Kennedy and Horsell Common were awesome. There weren't many people there, which sucked for them. I have to admit that yet again, i was there more for the support than anything else, and as usual they didn't disappoint. I can't wait for the new album, which isn't out forever, but the first single should be in my letterbox this week. Tomorrow, I think. Mark from Horsell Common told us off for being too far away from the stage, so like good girls we obliged and shuffled forward a few steps. Afterwards we were hanging around with James (who does most of the sound at the Batty), and the security guard was going to make us leave until she realised we were with him. Silly cow.

I actually enjoyed myself over the weekend with mum. We went and saw Uncle Gerry on Saturday, and then went and saw Nan (we were there for 15 whole minutes, rock) and then drove around Burnie and mum showed me where she grew up, then we went to Burnie Park and wandered around there for a bit. Then we went out to the b&b (which was a little outside Wynyard) and got settled. Then it was back into Burnie for dinner cos there wasn't anything open in Wynyard. Finally made it back to the b&b and mum watched Wild Hogs. I only watched the start before going to bed cos I'd already seen the end. On Sunday we started by going to Fossil Bluff (worst idea ever. Really pretty, but bloody steep) and Table Cape (if it wasn't so cloudy we would have been able to see all the way to Low Head), and then we headed out to Smithton (which failed really hard. We drove, and drove out again straight away) and then went to Stanley. We did the scenic route the wrong way around because mum had to pee, so I made her do it the right way around. It was really pretty, even though it was disgustingly windy and only started raining every time we got out of the car. Then we parked the car and wandered around the shops, and had some lunch. We were going to wander around the top of the Nut, but I was too scared to go on the chairlift and the track was too steep for mum.
Then we went to Sister's Beach and wandered along the beach a little, before going to Boat Harbour and eating chips on the beach and watching the wind surfer (he wasn't as pretty as the one at Low Head though). After that we went back to the b&b and watched Ocean's 11, went out for dinner, and then watched Ocean's 12.
On Monday we went and visited my great aunt Mona, and then went to Devonport for lunch. Mum was really sore and tired by then so we came home.

Liss and I went to the supermarket earlier, and on the way home decided to go and see Rocky Horror on stage in Sydney next Thursday night. We had decided to go ages ago, but had to wait for Liss' new shift times and had decided somewhere along the line that it would be too hard with not much time left before I go. Until today, of course. I think Liss summed it up best:
"so... Pants and I went to the supermarket to get foods and on the way back home we went though the news agency (like we almost always do) and Time Warp was playing. Which is awesome in itself. But then I started being sad about how we never got around to getting the money or the time to go see Rocky Horror and how that was sad and Stuff. Then. THEN. Pants was all.. well, I don't remember because it was all one big huge stupid blur but the end result is that Pants just booked tickets =("
We should stop doing things like this. It's expensive. But it always ends up being worth it, so I've never managed to regret anything, and that's just the way things should be.

I gotta pee. And I gotta get Sugarcult's new album. Err, that is actually related - when we were at the Sugarcult signing, Airin had to pee too.

I leave in 3 weeks and I'm just not sure I'm ready =( Also, if you happen to live near me, I'm having a going away dinner at Links on the 18th. I dunno what time, probably around 7, but lemme know if you're coming.

EDIT: Looking at the calender is scary.
Also, I'll upload photos when I get my sd card back off mum.
