(no subject)
So when I got back to uni and to my M&G CD, I realised I'd left behind my Holiday Fun Stuff disc. At which point I decided "fuck it, I am not waiting until September for a Stuff Pack that was crap anyway".
After a marathon session, I reinstalled TS2. And I put the CEP back in. And I popped in to see how the Chandlers were coping.
Surprisingly well. No obvious Blue Flashy Doomy objects, no crazy whacked out CC, just... exactly what the game looked like on my old PC. Albeit with better graphics. And Rissa's still pregnant, but only with one kidlet. Hopefully she'll get over her wrathfulness when I give her a new house.
Yeah. I've decided to remodel Chez Chandler. It'll have to wait until I've filmed several key scenes, because I need it to fit in with the story and not just have a random BRAND NEW HOUSE pop up. But it'll happen. And I now have inspiration to get those first few scenes filmed.
I still need to get Photoshop and SimPE installed properly before I can really get started (the Clean Installer can wait, it's not a big deal really), but since I've redownloaded SimPE and I have my Photoshop disc with me, that'll probably happen tonight. And since I have a day off tomorrow, well, filming miiiiiiight happen...

ETA: SimPE, Photoshop CS4 and the Clean Installer all installed with no problems. Tomorrow.... tomorrow, I write. Tonight, I am really fucking tired and will sleep.
