Thoughts?
Since my Mariel's broke, Shopbop is nice enough to let me return them for an exchange or merchandise credit, free of charge. I am seriously in awe of their superb shipping and return policies, and friendly customer service. If only they sold more brands, such as Givenchy. Anyway, I can't decide what to do with the credit.
I want to wait until I find something really like and need, such as a boot. I was thinking of waiting until Shopbop might possibly decided to carry the Jeffrey Campbell Lita but then I realized that it's actually quite clunky and ugly. So now I don't really know what kind of boot I want, that's reasonably priced.
What I really want is this Alexander Wang boot, but let's be realistic here. There's no way I can afford the retail price 'cause BG never has good sales, and I don't know if Shopbop will ever carry them. Since they aren't available right now on Shopbop nor do I know when (if ever), I've narrowed it to two choices until new stock arrives.
Pelle Moda (left), $160. Since I'm returning the Mariels, I feel like I need another leopard/cheetah pair of shoes. These are sexy, but idk how long the whole animal print trend is going to last and I don't want to get them if it's going to go out of style fast? And I feel like, I could get something similar to this at like Bakers or something...
Alexander Wang (right), $525. I like these and was thinking I could wait until they go on sale and use the credit towards the purchase. But I'll probably have to wait around 6 months before they go on sale. I feel like since I'm downsizing my shoe closet, I'm left with a lot of black shoes, so a pair of gray/white shoes would be really refreshing to see.
Between the two, which would you pick? Ugh. I really want the first boot though.
