It's been a good week.
I'm bored right now, so I thought I'd make a post.
First off, I finally got my Federal income tax return direct deposited in my account today, which was $544. After paying bills I'm left with $47. There goes that. :( It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't already know I wouldn't get paid until March 10, meaning I have two more weeks to wait until I get my first paycheck.
As far as my job goes, my first week of work at the Dead Mountain Echo was fun and I've already gotten a lot accomplished. By Tuesday I have to be ready to take over, because Ron will be leaving. I'll be sad when he goes. I hope he keeps in touch, 'cause he's a really nice old dude and he's really fun to talk to.
Tomorrow I'm tagging along with Mark to Portland. He's shooting the Oakridge girls' basketball team at their game against Portland Christian for fourth place in the state. I don't know what exactly I'll be able to help him with, but at least he won't be driving three hours there and back again by himself. I guess I can make myself useful and try to get some people's names for him so he can take pictures without the bother.
