how are you, old friend?
shit, it's been almost a month since i've updated this here lj. sorry for neglecting you all... i'll catch you up.
well... summer school started (surveying & mechanics of materials) and it's fun. challenging, but fun. i've got two good profs, so thats always a plus. i actually got my first mechanics of materials test back today... 93!!... and only because he let us use notes... otherwise it prolly would've been a C.
chris came up to see lau and myself. fun times were had. went to see the mermaid purse one nite, went to the flying saucer another nite, kicked out some old jams... um, and just hung out.
the same nite chris arrived, lau arrived about 15 minutes later with a new kitten! oh great, elle is not going to be happy.... well, she got over it. its been about a week and a half, and they are chasing each other and playing.
oh yeah... the kitten has a name now: Mae.
elle also had another traumatic experience on july 3rd... read all about it in lau's journal.
as lau said, i can't believe this is the fourth july 4th we have spent together... it seems like it wasn't too long ago that i met that beautiful italian girl. although our weekend didn't go quite as planned, i always enjoy spending time with her. soon... the summer will be over and my love will be back home.
