Home 2 Thoughts (Yeah, spoilers, duh)
Okay my first take-away impression...
WHAT was with Six going all Starbuck? I mean, the hair. the clothes and the *manerisms*. There's so something there. (I don't want to know what! Don't spoil me or I'll kick your ass!) I get the impression that she was making a point about Starbuck and babies. We know Simon harvested tissues (eggs) from her in "The Farm". I think this is going to be a thing.\
I suspect a lot of people will just call it misdirection, since at the end we see that she's all on the Boomer/Helo baby, but in that scene she was back to being Skanky!Six. The Starbuck!Six was about something else I'm thinking.
Boomer going 'traitor' to the Cylons rocked my world. The way she held the gun on Adama just long enough to say her piece and then handed it over. That so rocked my world.
And I get the feeling that we've come full circle. We've now completely ended the arc that started WAY the hell back with "Colonial Day". I'm a little disappointed with Adama's forgive and forgive and forget attitude, but I think the *intensely* dark days are over. At least for a week or two.
And next time... "A Day in the Life" (the B5 camera crew ep)? Well, I'm sure they'll have their usual twists and turns on it."
I may have more to say when I get home and can watch with the captioning. But for now I'm in Indiana hanging out with AlphaWolf and having a really good time.
