About damn time!
Got word at 6:37 this morning that we can set up our classrooms from 2:30 to 7:30 this afternoon.
Apparently we can only be in for so long and can only have so many people in at a given time. And also apparently, the other two schools on our campus are getting in first. Gr.
So we've gone from five DAYS to five HOURS, but it's something.
And it may spare us from a few days of having 150 kids IN ONE ROOM for part of this week, which was the current plan.
Oh, and phenomenal... we're supposed to have record breaking heat into the 90s today while we all unload our lives from our cars and drag it into our rooms.
ETA: We are not being spared 150 kids in a room tomorrow. In fact, even with this, we're still not sure when the KIDS can access the building. Guh.
ETA+: I'm taking a $50 hit from my grocery delivery service to cancel my order, because at 8:00 last night when I placed the order, and hadn't heard anything from work, I figured of COURSE I'd be home between 5 and 7 to get my food. Topping that off, I'M NOT GETTING MY GROCERIES. I'm going to have to make an emergency run to Jewel before I go in this morning and get the essentials. UGH!
