So last Monday we were told we'd be able to get into our new school this
Wednesday (tomorrow).

On Friday we were told it was being pushed to Thursday. But really.
Thursday. And you can stay until 10:00 p.m. each day from Thursday to
Monday to get things done before kids show up at 8:00 on Tuesday the 3rd.

So Saturday I drove out to this
building-that-would-theoretically-be-a-school-by-the-day-after-tomorrow.

Yesterday I asked if we were *reeeeeeaaaaalllly* moving in on Thursday. I
was told 'yes.'

Today they said we can get in on Saturday and work from either 8 to 4 or 8
to 6... there seemed to be some fuzziness on this and there was nothing
even close to 10:00 anywhere in the discussion. And when another teacher
said, "Are they SURE about Saturday? I mean, I should set an alarm and be
waiting at the door at 8:00 sure?" She was told, "Keep an eye on your email
before you leave the house."

So... raise your hand if you think Tuesday morning, when 800 kids show up,
we'll still be a hot fucking mess?
