It's not even Friday and I'm in the thick of it...
First of all, this is kind of cute... I got reviewed on a soap/body product blog. :)
Second of all, I actually went out and had a life this weekend. I was at
brigid 's (however briefly) yesterday and I went with my photography group to do a shoot at Graceland Cemetery. Which, for being a, you know, a cemetery, was pretty cool.
And THEN, I got slammed with Etsy orders. Four Five today and all fairly big ones. This on top of the 8 I started the day with in my queue.
I've gone into 'this is for serious' mode. I have my checklist program going on my iPad and I'm back to working on 'all the soaps', 'all the bath bombs' whatever mode instead of doing one order at a time.
Today I packaged 5 orders to send with the 4 or 5 I already had done. And I shipped four on Friday. Right now I have all the bath bombs in ever (with the exception of the half a batch of hearts that I can't do until the first half are done) curing. The plan is they should all be ready by Wednesday - the day I don't have to work that isn't an actual holiday - so I can do the soaps that go with most of them (only two of the sets don't also have soaps) tomorrow and Tuesday and then I can wrap and ship again on Wednesday.
If that makes no sense, the short version is: I received 20 orders this week. 4 have shipped, 10 (9?) are ready to ship and I'm busting ass to get through the rest.
I'm giving up home on clearing the deck until somewhere around New Years at this point. I'll always be working on something until about then.
But I'm not bitching. With the money Etsy will deposit for me tomorrow + the money I just moved out of Paypal... I just got an extra half-a-paycheck in my account. That money will more than pay for any Black Friday shopping I have planned. And I have a pretty lethal list set up for both Michaels and Target.
