Another big moment for my art/craft business?
Wow, I'm Posty McPosterson today, aren't I?
Anyway, I just got invited to have my stuff in a pop-up shop that's going to be in the Chicago Cultural Center from October through January 1st. You know... holiday shopping season.
And did I mention, at the Chicago Cultural Center? It's kind of a big touristy/art 'scene' kind of place. Lots of people traffic. It's in the Loop, right near the Lake.
I'm wrapping my brain around 35% commission, but if I up the prices from my Etsy just a bit I'll still make a decent profit and have exposure/resume item like whoa.
So, you know, like the 600 bath bombs (which did eventually happen, so...) I'm waiting to see if it actually comes through, but if it does, I'll be so stoked. :)
