• Comcast has a thing on their voicemenu thing that says, "We are aware of some problems with some services. This is due to Daylight Savings Time. Technicians are aware and working on the problem."
REALLY? DST is causing cable/internet problems? They haven't had time changes twice a year since... oh, I don't know... the moment the company was conceived? *sigh*
• I woke up to find out that my 1:00 hike was actually a 10:45 hike. In Naperville. (Which, HYSTERICALLY, my GPS keeps autocorrecting to Baskerville, LOL!) So I fly around the house getting ready to go out and get out on time and everything. Get to Naperville and... either the event was cancelled and no one told me or the really shit directions were even more shit than I thought. I never found them. So fuck it, I'll hike on my own. Fifteen minutes in and... my camera breaks. Really breaks. As in ERROR 99 and no matter how many times I reboot it it sticks on ERROR 99. I'm going to have to get it fixed with money... I don't really have, but I seriously can't contemplate a spring without my camera. So that blows HARD. And of course, it died while I had two hawks and a blue jay in sight. ARGH!!!
• I have no idea what the hell was going through my brain last night when I decided that I OMG NEED RIGHT NOW to type out what that weirdass dream was about. I couldn't even keep my eyes open to do it. Sorry for inflicting that on you.
• Kári eats guacamole. In fact, I decided that if I ever wanted to eat my guacamole in peace I'd have to put him in the cage. He pokes at most of my food, but he was DRIVEN to get to the guac. It was $5/8oz Whole Foods guac... he can't have that. Not to mention, spicy foods+ferrets=really evil ferret farts!
• I've started pontificating on why everyone seems to automatically accept that House is in the Sherlock Holmes family of fandoms, but no one seems to think Psych is. But it should be. And it's more than just "a non-cop guy uses ridiculous powers of observation to solve crimes" connection. There are tons of parallels. But no one seems to think the two are related. That strikes me as odd.
