Long. Ass. Day.

 I have the awesome assignment of awesomeness for the next (it looks like) 3 weeks.  I am the certified body in the room for a group of artists in residence at a K-5 building.    I have no planning to do.  Hell, I'm not even in charge of instruction.  I'm just there to help out as needed and to be the teacher who is present so the classroom teachers can use the time as a prep.  It's three days a week until Dec. 16.  And since I said I'd stick around to do the after school program, I'm getting time and a third for the day.  Of course it means working from 7:30 to 5:30, which is a hella long day.

Today's revelation/reminder:  kindergarteners are very small and very young.  However, 99% of them are absolutely adorable.

In other news, I made as much on my Etsy today as I make in a regular day of subbing.  This is not to say I made a whack load of money on Etsy; it means I make a sad, sad pittance subbing.  So after my ten hour day I get to come home for the next several days at least and spend at least three hours in my kitchen processing orders.  OMG I NEED MY LAPTOP BACK!!!  Thursday, they tell me.  Maybe.

Apropos of nothing, Glee rocked my socks tonight.  Congressman Hummel.  Far too cool for words.

I have a art show on Saturday.  I am so not ready.  I foresee a distinct lack of sleep between now and winter break starting.
