• Fed a baby American cheese and toast for breakfast. Seriously So. Much. Fun! There's nothing cuter than a *just* shy of one-year-old feeding himself cheese and toast and drinking from a sippy cup.
• Burrito place at the airport that doesn't actually have tacos on their menu made me tacos anyway.
• Made *3* Etsy sales today! Thank you so much to Maisfeeka, someone whose LJ name I can't match up to your email addy and some random person who seems to not be from LJ since they didn't use the code.*
• Made it to the vet's in time to get Gaia *and* do her E.C.E. check up visit. She is MUCH better after her little trip to the spa vet for boarding. Apparently Dr. Jenny got her to swallow her Pepcid whole. O_o Dr. Jenny is also trying the addition of one more med to get the diarrhea under control, but she's not puking any more. And her energy is WAY, WAY up! YAYAYAYAY! Oh, and they trimmed her toe nails which she is having no part of letting me do lately. And the total cost was about 1/2 of what I was steeling myself for.
• Two boyfriends were alive and well even if they'd totally trashed the cage OMG FOOD EVERYWHERE! when Gaia and I got home.
• Yuletide story is now at 2500 words, scenes 1/4 and 3/4 are done. I know what scene 2/4 will be. I have to decide where to tie off 4/4 because as it *is* I'm setting myself up for a "but what happens when they get there?" tirade from readers.
• Much of the art show signage is designed. I can play with sizing and printing tomorrow.
Yesterday was pretty decent too.
• I was not involved in either of the spin-out-and-crash-into-the-retaining-wall accidents I saw happen on LSD at 5:30 in the morning.
• The in-laws were really decent this year. Sometimes my family and theirs just kind of sit there and stare at each other without much to say. This year there were two small children (NIP and NIP's cousin who is 6 weeks older than NIP) to discuss at great length. And to play with.
• NIP is TOO CUTE FOR WORDS! I put a song on on my phone and he holds it in one hand, the coffee table with the other and DANCES! He's apparently a fan of There Might Be Giants and Bowling for Soup. :p
But I do have to say... whew! 36 hours exactly turn around on this trip... That's kind of a lot of moving and doing and such in such a short period of time.
Also, OMG a post like this requires Every Tag in the World!
* If you missed my post yesterday... If you use the code LJDW10 on at
my Etsy shop between now and December 1, you'll get 10% off your whole order. :) Most of the stuff listed comes in many, many colors, so if you'd like it in, oh, purple or yellow, or with stripes, just give me a holler! :)
