Someone cleaned up their room!
Okay, so last night I noticed that someone had dug about 80% of the food in the boys' dish out and had scattered it all over the top level of the cage. Now, I learned with Spirit - what I *don't* want to do is go and clean it up for them right away. Then it's a game. We make a mess! We get new food! We get attention! So... no.
They're ferrets. The pad on that level of the cage is clean. They can eat the food they spilled if they really need food. And, you know, they're *ferrets*. It's fine.
I woke up this morning to find that the roughly 2 square feet of scattered food had been scooped back up to the edge of the boys' bowl in a big heaping pile! They didn't quite get it back in the dish, but there's this huge pile of food right up against the back of it.
I am ROTFL! Someone cleaned up their room!
