I hate when a few stupid people make life difficult for those of us who toe the line.
Today's Issue: It is illegal to sell spray paint inside the Chicago city limits.
Two guesses why; first one doesn't count.
So I drag my ass out to the suburbs today and get the last remaining can of black spray paint in the store.
I come home, it's 70+ degrees (OMG Halloween is this week and it's over 70 degrees!) so I get the posts out and get to work while I have the weather on my side.
Guess what? A can of spray paint doesn't go as far as one would think. I got one coat on one post and one coat on HALF of the other before the can kicked the bucket.
Which means at some point (quite probably well after D.C. this weekend - OMG D.C. this week!) there will have to be another drag-my-ass-to-Timbuktu trip for two more cans of spray paint. *sigh* And the weather is SO not going to be as nice when I finally get more time to deal with this.
