Productive, if drama-inducing day...

So... I went to the open lab at ceramics today as scheduled.  I get there and hand over my receipt printout and the instructor was all, "Oh, this is a problem.  See you're actually supposed to be in the $119 class on Tuesdays in order to get into the $30 additional lab time on Thursdays."

I basically said that the computer not only let me register and took my money, it didn't say that I needed to be enrolled in something else or that I needed instructor permission to register.

So she takes the receipt and goes to talk to her supervisor.  I stay in the room and wait.

About ten minutes later I hear her *screaming* from down the hall, "WELL *I* HAVE SOMEONE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS!"

And then a guy screams back something I couldn't hear and then her response was, "DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!"

To which he responds, "FINE!  Next time you need to deal with this MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!"

And I was all... Ohshit.

So she comes back in and says, "The Park District can suck it.  Let me get you some clay."

...mmm... okay?

She said that something that happened yesterday precipitated today, but... wow.  She also said not to worry about it and to keep coming in for studio on Thursdays.

OMG! GOOD STUDIO AGAIN!  Slab roller!  Extruder!  Molds!  Glazes of awesomeness!  BEAD RACK!

Due to having an OMG good facility, that which got constructed tonight (obviously I could constuct to my heart's content since I had nothing to glaze):

• Dragon mug (slab roller + cylinder mold + extruder = MAKING MUGS REALLY FAST! - there will be mugs for holiday gifts this year, oh yes there will.)
• 4 small plates (My 19 year old ones have been breaking)
• 3 ferret footprint beads
• sunflower pendant
• gecko pendant
• two starry pendants
• "Dream" pendant
• "Wish" pendant
• "Imagine" pendant
• grasshopper pendant

Someone asked me in that post of everything I made last session ever, if I was doing rolled handles or extruded.  I was doing rolled then, but I can do extruded now!  Woot!  (It only took me fifteen minutes to figure out how to take it apart and get the extra clay out easily.  *headdesk*)

do not want, not my fault, drama, ceramics
