This is how you do it.
Clean out the cage, thoroughly. Run the pads through the washer, change out all the beds, clean out the water bottle and food dish. Clean the litter box, replace the potty pad that goes under the litterbox and replace the litterbox. Fill the waterbottle and food dish. Replace ferrets.

Yeah... forgot to actually put *litter* in the litterbox.
This has Completely and Totally fucked with Magick's head. She wakes up, runs down to the litter box, hops in, realizes there is no litter, hops out. Looks at litterbox. Well, it's that white thing that goes in that corner... but there's nothing in it. Hops back in, hops back out, gives hoomin a look that says, "No seriously, WTF is this?" Waits for stoopid hoomin to catch a clue.
What worries me is that the cage got cleaned out around 4:00 this afternoon... has she been HOLDING it this whole time? I thought ferrets maxed out at three hours.
