You really want to have fun? I set myself a little project about two years ago, but never actually finished it. I've actually gone back to working on it this past week.
Anyway, it's every video I had on DVD or could rip from YouTube to recreate every Duran Duran album, in video form, from the first album through Red Carpet Massacre.
Though I have discovered that a lot of the ones I pulled off my video DVDs have audio holes, I'm working on re-ripping and replacing those now. I got through "View to a Kill" tonight and will pick up with "Notorious" tomorrow. If you don't think I'm completely insane want any of those, let me know and I'll let you know when I have new links. :)
Yeah, you may regret having gotten me on this topic. ;)

That sounds awesome! (and no, I don't think I'll regret getting you on this topic!! *g*)
I have every album/dvd published so far (except Red Carpet Massacre - I just really don't like it), but that project sounds brilliant - there are so many videos they didn't put on any of their dvds! And I don't care if DD never produced a vid for a particular song, live perfomances are perfectly fine with me ;)

I love Red Carpet Massacre - the whole album, but especially the song. I tend to put it on when I need to power walk to the El. :)
Anyway, I'm still plugging along on the replacements for the bad files (though I just accidentally deleted an entire DVD rip and have to spend 8 hours doing that again. Not that it's major - it can run overnight).
The pure level of crack in some of these videos is really amazing. Ever see the 14 minute version of "New Moon on Monday"? It's a whole little movie in and of itself. :)
