ummm... so. my myspace homepage is undergoing routine mantainence... F that S. sorry LJ i just have my favorites.
i finished two posters for bryan today. i have found myself in the midst of finals and all the while im planning my trip to austin. i havent talked to my mother in almost a week now, and she seems to get so enraged when i go this long without talking to her. i hope she understands the stress that i am going through right now. i have so much art to catch up on. i dont really know why i keep taking 3 studio classes at a time. i think that i screwed myself by staying at PJC, cause i have gotten the lecture classes out of the way, now all i have left is studio classes.
i shall be a junior next semester, and its rather exciting. getting into graphic design cirriculum heavily beginning next semester as well. typography, intro to graphic design, and of course photo 101. photo should be a blast, and typography, too... im not sure what intro to GD entails. i will, along the way, be taking the history of graphic design... this school is so very thorough! i should have a friggin masters, not a bachelors... man, i wonder what the graduate cirriculum is like!?
forgot to mention that im sick as a dog! cant decide if its the stress of the crazy weather we've been having. 80 one day, 50 the next. got to love the south.
im so glad i wont be here for the insanity that occurs every st.patrick's day, here in savannah. recently discovered that this little port city was founded by a bunch of irish folks who were starving up in ireland cause there was somewhat of a shortage of potatoes. yes, the potato famine. so here we sit, in a strategic port city, with many microbreweries... delicious beer out of these breweries i might add. the black and tan i got one night, both of the beers were local, wow, it was deeeelish. speaking of port cities... i was driving down the northernmost road in savannah... its parallel to the savannah river... you can see south carolina. CLEARLY. anyhow.. i look over and there was the biggest effing BOAT ive ever seen in my life. i almost got into a wreck. my eyes didnt know what they were seeing and my brain did not knwo how to percieve the fact that there was this HUGE thing. imagine 4 NFL stadiums... 5 civic centers... with writing, and railcars piled as far as the eye can see.
i really dont get out much.. i almost wet my pants.
take care.
