So, I think I could hear the collective 'WTF?' at the "one year later" mark, yeah? I was spoiled pretty thoroughly, and even I was taken aback a little.

Very few complaints on my end - that was a kickass hour and a half of television, on the whole. I would've been much happier if there'd been more time to devote to the settlement of New Caprica, though. Ideally, 'Black Market' and 'Scar' would've been one episode, 'cause those were just *interminable,* and then the finale could've been three full episodes instead of the overpacked two-and-a-half we got. Basically, I think the audience didn't get a chance to get over its time shift shock before the new and exciting "omg cylon invasion!" shock came, so, suspense fatigue. But I nitpick because I love, so, yes. I will possibly be appeased by flashbacks once the new season starts, but that's apparently not for 7 freaking months - what's with that, anyway? It won't be fun to be a cast member attending a con in the meantime, I'll bet.

Also, I really thought the Six at the end was supposed to be Gina rather than the Six from Baltar's head, but apparently this isn't a common assumption? Just the way she talked about the nuclear blast tipping the cylons off to the humans' location seemed to suggest it, to me. That and I don't think the Six in his head is physically real, especially after seeing the Caprica!Six have a Baltar of her own in *her* head.

Also, for other BSG spoiler fans: a brief interview with Ron Moore about the start of the next season. With pretty thorough spoilage for tonight's episode too, of course.
