funk y cherry and two dollars off
i've fallen deeply in love with the company of three people. (the girl who is from bedrock...a miniature copy of my physical features. the girl who is martha, my dear...another child of the powerlines. and the boy who's hair is now the color of funky cherry.)
the last two days were beautiful. i've never felt more like a teenager in my entire life. the last two days were filled with the adventures i've been so longing to have.singing dancing shooting off with our each own individual colors (orangeolivepinkdyestainedblue)into what will be in my memory as a montage of what it is to live happily. taped up feet, target runs, a fierce battle in nordstrom rack, donuts, smashing pumpkins (o the ultimate teen anthem writers), photographs running through the yard of elise's house, joni mitchell,coloring hair, crosswords and goldfish. (i even wrote another love letter.) i have a roll of film (cky 24 shot) that documented our coloring of hair.
we even had our own shabbat! thursday at 2:08 p.m., matzah as our challah, coke as our wine, and shannon (the catholic) wore a keepa on her head.
i loved waking up to lie on the trundle and work on my crossword with them. (shannons phone constantly buzzing with her popularity.)
i hope summer never ends.
