Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

Today I finished my American Lit paper at 3:00am, because I was helping Rae with her Communications homework as well as talking with Jhen, Wes, Nathan and Jenny online. When I finally got to bed at 3:45, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to school in the morning. I must have only slept for 2 hours, because at 7:00 when my alarm went off, I turned it off and ignored everything. When I finally got out of bed, at 1:30pm, I dropped both my Hawaiian class and my Polynesian Dance class. Last night, I thought about dropping Korean as well, as I don't see that being useful to me, but I am not going to drop it, I'm just going to miss a day.

I can't stand it wen ppl tipe liek dis, it's annoying and difficult to read. It's like eating mud. I wish ppl wud lern 2 use English. It really is a deal breaker for me. Using "u" for "you" is one thing, and while texting on the phone there is a limited amount of space available, so trying to squeeze a lot of thought into a little space, I understand, but on AiM, Yahoo and MSN there is only so much I can tolerate before I want to strange the person, no matter how interested I am in her. Oops, did I let that slip? Shame.

I still think my future lies in Asia somewhere, but now I've pretty much figured out that Hawaii is not going to be "on the way" as I once considered. That leaves me with fewer options now, and those are:

1) Get my A.A., go to Asia, teach English.
2) Forget the A.A., I grew up in America and I'm quite proficient in my language. I'll go teach as soon as I get my passport. Anyone who doubts this as a valid option clearly doesn't understand, I could get paid more to teach English there at my current educational level than professors here are paid with Masters or Bachelors degrees. Leet, is it not?
3) Get my A.A., go to Sac State for upper division courses in the language of the country I am going to, likely China (and thus Mandarin), and get a spiffier English degree.

Somewhere in there I could amend each option with : open an internet cafe, teach English on the side, or vice versa.

I must carefully consider these options. The only benefit to getting my A.A. would be if the political scene got murky and the Americans were asked to leave whatever country I was in, I could come back to the states with some education. Then again, I could just jump over to a different Asian country were that to happen.

If I choose option 2, I could theoretically be teaching in the fall.

Poll oooh the choices...
