100 Movies, Part 1

Jun 07, 2012 15:31

I felt challenged by hallowchaser to make a list of my 100 Fave Movies. It took me two or three days, but I finally came up with a list that contains the 100 movies I'd take with me in case of a lonely island sabbatical. Only rule was not to take any movie from 2012* since we often tend to over- or undervaluate movies we've recently seen (many of my Top 5 movies of the past years didn't make the cut while some initially lower-placed did). The list still heavily emphasizes the past twenty years, but I guess that was to be expected since those are the movies I tend to associate with certain personal memories.

So, here it is, the mammoth list of my 100 Fave Movies... right now.
