wow, I really had to think long and hard on that one to even come up with a show that got cancelled prematurely and whose cancellation really bugged me... Then a whole bunch came to mind all at once. So, I blame it on the weather...

I must admit I never watched Kyle XY even once but ending in the middle of a scene really sounds ridiculously irritating oO

So what I ended up with were:
Dark Angel - my irritation over that one has subsequently subsided. Probably because I haven't watched the show again in quite some time...

Millennium - that concluding episode over on the X-Files actually made it worse.

Dead Like Me - Still sad it only had two seasons. Didn't see the movie.

But I'm pretty much over these... The one that still bugs me, though, and the most recent on my short list would have to be:

Stargate Atlantis - I actually do really like SGU but that was uncalled for :\ And considering the ratings SGU's season 1 got it's still open if it's going to survive its second year...

On a lighter note, I was really sad to see Hustle ( ... )

Oh, believe me, if it hadn't been renewed at the last minute, the vote totally would have gone to Primeval.

I really liked Dead Like Me but somehow its cancelation never bothered me. Haven't watched the movie either, but I also heard it sucked.

I don't actually know how Stargate: Atlantis ended. Was it cliffhangery?

P.S.: I added a YouTube-video to my post to show how ridiculously irritating it really was.

@video uhm... wtfh? you put something like that right before a commercial break but to end a series with *that*?! I'm speechless oO

@SGA "Enemy at the Gate" isn't a particularly bad episode nor is it an outstanding one. It's mediocre. And it's not exactly cliffhangery. They did know it was going to be the last one... However, that not making it into a cliffhanger seems forced in several places. And they parked the frickin' city right outside San Francisco fcol...

What it comes down to (for me) is that ending it then and there (just) because they badly wanted to do SGU was utterly pointless. There better be that movie they promised some time down the road. lol

Oh, the movie will happen, I'm pretty sure about that. Stargate is still one of the three most successful sci-fi franchises on TV and the original series already got a few movies so there's no chance in hell for Atlantis to not get its own movie.
