[Water is the prevalent sound, but a loud, attention seeking miaow takes over as the cat (called only ‘the cat’) so far makes itself heard. The setting is evidently the bathhouse, steam rising, feline in question perched on the lip of the bath, as if considering jumping in. It is evidently quite a young cat, probably not a pedigree but definitely the vessel of some maine coon blood, especially judging by the weird
trilling sounds it makes as it reaches a paw down to try and poke the water.
It’s movement is halted when water is flicked at it by fingers a deep tan, and a deadpan:]
Cat.
[It chirps at the one bathing, Sheik, and dunts its head against his shoulder. He sighs heavily and nudges it away with his hand.]
Get out of it.
[Another little series of trills and chirps and it contents itself to sit by the water, nestled - of course - on a folded pile of clothes. Sheik sighs once more, and disappears off camera.]
Ridiculous.
[Mew.]
Would that I shared the ab - …
Cat.
[Mew.
The recording shuts off.]
