(no subject)
i finally got around to taking a picture of all the cards i received from this card swap. i thought it was weird that i received the lower right one first and then all of the other ones in the same day, a week or two later.
the past few weeks have been a haze of gift wrapping, birthday party-going, not sleeping enough, eating entirely too much food. for some reason i wasn't in my usual christmas spirit this year. i got so many amazing presents but i'm happy the day is over. we spend so much time, effort and money on one day then it's all over. jared and i are leaving for florida on wednesday to see his family and have a 2nd christmas. i'm excited to get away a little bit and relax.
here's what's been going on lately...
jared, his brother, our friend jordan and i FINALLY ventured up to cleveland to eat at melt for the first time!
i saw this beer on the menu and thought it was interesting because i'm obsessed with all things alien related so he ordered it.
i drank wyder's pear cider and it was the BEST THING EVER. i need to find out where i can buy it.

so delicious. i ended up eating most of the macaroni without the bread because i could hardly bite it/it was so filling.
we had to wait to eat for about 2 hours so we went to big fun during that time.

there isn't usually a ton of crafting going on but it's still super fun. last week we played vicious games of pit and 51.

new year's eve was strange. jared and i got into a fight, talked it over, our friends were scattered for awhile but we all assembled to watch the ball drop. my favorite part was the really good kiss jared gave me at midnight and him singing "wouldn't it be nice" to me later on. the majority of this year has been a not-so-good one for our relationship but i have so much hope for us my heart. 2011 will be better, i'm sure of it!
as for today, i'm not feeling so good. my throat is scratchy, back sore, head congested. i'm hoping to get it under control by wednesday before we fly.
ps. i'm not making resolutions for the new year.
