Nine years? Really?
Thanks to my evil twin, I've just turned on the TRL Finale Playlist: 1999, and #6 was Genie in a Bottle... so as I'm singing along, I'm thinking, "Wow, Christina looks sooooooo young... I don't remember her looking that young in this video!" And then I realized that the video was from nine years ago... of course she looked young in it, compared to now. We all looked younger nine years ago! But on that note, where the heck did those nine years go??? My days of TRL and AEJCIA and roadtrips to see sparkly dance boys in concert don't seem *that* long ago!
Also -- #5 is Limp Bizkit's Rearranged, and the song doesn't sound the least bit familiar, and the video definitely doesn't look familiar. How the heck did this one get past me? Did I mute the TV during it and go back to doing homework? Or was this one of the videos that Carson showed for 2 seconds while he talked over it?
Shut up!! All the Small Things!! I remember watching the Making the Video for this and busting a gut the entire time!! I love this song!! And video!!

ETA: #3 was Music of My Heart, and I damn near freaked out when it started. I haven't seen the video in forever, and I literally shrieked. Then I yelled, "Yay Joey with his red hair!!" And then I cranked it, so I could hear JC and all his fun little parts in the song. Soooooooooo many good memories connected with those boys... if it weren't 11:30 at night, I would have called Mandy to tell her to flip on the video. We totally bonded over *NSYNC and TRL... starting in 1999 and continuing even today.
