Since I have no willpower...
I'm trying to catch up on the 110+ pages of the Rob Pattinson/Twilight thread, and right around page 99, I hit gold -- the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun, leaked (allegedly). No one knows for certain if they really are, since -- again, allegedly -- only Rob and Catherine had copies of them, but the entire first chapter is identical to the officially leaked first chapter that Stephenie herself leaked, and if it *is* a fake, someone has waaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on his/her hands, since it's scanned in from a spiral-bound hard copy. I've skimmed around to different parts, and my instinct is that it's real... no one could write Edward the way Stephenie does, and to write 12 chapters from his point of view, and nail it as well as she would? I don't think even the most hardcore Edward fans could do that.
Anyway.
It's 176 pages, and I refuse to lose my entire afternoon to a nap (already taken) and reading leaked!MS. So I stopped after I skimmed a portion that made me go, "Awwwww...", and that's where I'm going to leave it for today. At least, that's the plan. ;-)
And then she started to walk away from me.
Without thinking about my action, I reached out and caught her by the back of her rain jacket. She jerked to a stop.
"Where do you think you're going?" I was almost angry that she was leaving me. I hadn't had enough time with her. She couldn't go, not yet.
