Tony Lucca has a way with words.
He posted a new MySpace blog entry this weekend re: a song he recently wrote and how one fan misinterpreted the lyrics. They exchanged several notes on the subject, and with the fan's approval, Tony posted the exchange as a testament to how well communication works to "clear the air", when all parties involved act maturely, honestly, and without hostility. He made one particular comment re: poetic license that struck a chord with me, so I want to capture it here:
there's power in words and there's power in irony and that which makes us uneasy might well deserve our attention all the more.
