I'm not that girl.

My mind is racing a mile a minute, so now is probably not the best time for a detailed entry. I do, however, want to note that I've been in a major funk lately, and yesterday, while at Borders, I came across The Grimmerie (those familiar with Wicked will know what I'm referencing). I hadn't seen it in person before, so I stood there for a good 15 minutes, flipping through it. I almost bought it, and totally would have, had I not already dropped a small fortune doing other shopping (which included the purchase of Anthony Rapp's book... which, while I love both RENT and Wicked beyond words, RENT trumps Wicked). In any case...

It had been awhile since I'd listened to the soundtrack. It had been awhile since I'd given much thought to the storyline and characters and themes. And flipping through The Grimmerie, it all came back to me. And I remembered how much the show inspired me, and it made me realize... the funk I've been in? I'm not that girl. I don't like her very much, and I recognize her from those times in my life when I've been the most stressed, the most depressed, and the most "dark and twisty". I don't want to be that girl.

So... today it changes. I need to snap out of the funk, and I'm the only person who can snap myself out of it... and make sure I *stay* out of it.

I have no limits... I can defy gravity.
