We have them, but they really don't generate the rabid hysteria like the thanksgiving weekend.T-giving weekend is usually a 4 day weekend for most people giving them plenty of time to shop. By X-mas people are too broke to buy anything, except with gift cards.

It simply baffles me that people discard such high quality perfectly good items, how much of their lives they invest in an object only to discard it after marginal use. It's like discarding life energy and finding it in the street.
I'm finding it's not how much money you make, but how well you spend it that really matters. I guess that's why so many lottery winners fall victim to the lottery curse where ultimately winning the lottery leads to their financial and personal demise. Me, I stick with small silent victories. They are the ones that ultimately win @ life IMO.
