two interviews in the past week. have not heard back from the church yet, the community organization i talked to today said they will let me know either way by the end of the week. im kinda pushing for the one from today, cause its four blocks from my house (well, my house at the moment) and it seems like they do lots of good things for people. the church people were really nice too, so whichever place will be the most mutually beneficial would be awesome. help me out universe! fingers crossed. again.
still no word from my landlord. she was supposed to call me yesterday, but not so much. i'm going to text her later this afternoon and let her know i'm around tonight to talk. chris o is out middle of this month. bob is out the end of april. which means two months to find a new roommate. well, assuming the landlord will let us stay in the house and not increase the rent (we're currently paying about 400 less a month than what most of the houses in the neighborhood are renting for). i would very much like to stay where we are, but i've started nosing around just in case. the rental market in this city appears to blow at the moment. i don't want to live in some soulless complex in the suburbs, but there doesnt seem to be much available otherwise that isnt retardedly overpriced, totally ghetto (and overpriced), or lacking in important things like kitchens or parking (and overpriced). i'm going to email the nice lady who i rented my amazing attic from a few years ago and see if she might have anything opening up around may. i will be sad if i have to leave good ol 712 grundy though.
that whole being poor thing isnt helping the house issue either. then again, i read christy's posts about $2000+ rent, think of the $800 that i'm willing to split with mike that is the upper limit of my budget, and dont feel so bad.
i'm starving today!! starving!!!
