so having thought about it and gotten some good advice, i am going to wait to apply to grad school. i'm only gung-ho about it happening NOW because i want to get myself out of a shitty situation as quickly as possible, and when i'm desperate and frustrated i tend to make very poor decisions. i need to spend more time looking at what programs are available and what associated costs are. and in a sort of depressing vein, i dont have the spare $80-100 a pop for the application materials at the moment.

in the meantime, come on new job come on new job. i'd *like* to snag an entry or somewhat mid-level position in an international and/or public health arena, hence getting a foot in the door and probably being able to use the experience to avoid any internship requirements in a grad program, but i'll take anything that will allow me to dig myself out of my financial rut. and really, is $35k a year a ridiculous salary to ask for? i dont think so. according to the interwebs, the average for an administrative person in the greater dc/baltimore area is like $41k, so how is it that i'm being passed over as over qualified when i make less thank 25k yearly now (and thats working 2 jobs)? retarded.

megan sent me a link about issues with the fit, and now i'm worried my car is gonna splode.
