This was my first con in a little while. I seem to get a huge guilt trip whenever I leave for a con. I need to find a way off for Neko con as well but my manager is being so weird about vacations lately. I just need to be tough and tell her that I AM taking that weekend off. I would not ever want to miss that con. :P Anime next started out with a really really late drive up to the border of NY, 30 miles outside of the big city. The roads up there are really weild, and the directions gave us a LOT of turn offs. I assume they were shortcuts, but they were stressful. The road exits would count up, then outta nowhere they start to count down! Plus all the roads are named 5 different things, so we're trying to read the signs, and we have one quick turn off after another. But I navigated us all the way there without getting us lost! The hotel was uber fancy, and since I live in the nasty almost-ghetto, it was quite a change. We were finally there at 4am! We were supposed to stay with our friend, since it was a small hotel they couldnt afford to get me and jan our own room. We call his room. ... He hasnt checked in! Uhm. Okay. So what are we gunna do? That's great. Stuck there. At 4am. Bleh. I walk around a bit and a drunk business guy starts talking to me. He says he's about to leave cuz he lives close by and that I could use his room. I run to tell Jan, and the infamous Steve B walks in! He just got in too! So we end up staying with him for the night, with the loud snoring that they all had. The next day we find out our roomie wont be coming at all, so we get the room transfered to us. The first day of the con I spot Toshi and Marco. Both whom havent been to a con at the same time as I in a long time. Toshi was excited because he is now drinking for 3, and Marco exclimated all weekend how I smelt nice and how his future wife is going to be just like me. Also on Friday, me and jan went out to eat and got lost for hours. And the traffic was SO bad. But after we got back, the rest of the weekend was just a normal, not so busy con. :P

WARNING: All roads lead to Connecticut
