I FINALLY finished my quest, although I got more than a bit drunk along the way . . .

Here's the announcement I posted at the Lost in Shadows communities on both DeadJournal and LiveJournal:
You drink the Beer.You feel something brush past your pocket. When you look round, nobody is there, but the items you've collected are gone! You are momentarily angry, but then you realise that you've got what you wanted out of the deal - you feel faster.
I now have Celerity 3 and a new rank -- Blood Royal.
During my quest I also found a few things, like a teleport scroll and some garlic spray, plus I was able to add greatly to my bank account, having encountered a few hapless vampire hunters. They were a nice change from the fare at the pubs! :D
Please note that I do NOT have Thievery -- one need not steal from others to succeed at this game!
