Funny story
Whoooosh. Graduation/my last two weeks in DC are CRAZY. I finished with the graduation stuff and now I'm trying to finish up with the moving out stuff. And then I have two LATE challenges to finish and another one to begin. When I decided to sign up for challenges due in May, I was clearly insane. BUT I WILL PREVAIL.
However, I have a funny story that I think many of you on my flist will appreciate...
At the dinner after my graduation, I was sitting with one of my best friends, my dad, my uncle, and my grandpa at the end of a long table, and we were talking about how my uncle has joined a curling league (like, that sport with the sticks and the rock and the ice... yeah, I don't get it either).
Uncle: So a few nights ago I played with the women's league because the men's league couldn't meet, and afterwards we went out to a bar. I thought we were going to talk about the game, but no, these women were talking about the craziest thing...
Us: What?
Uncle: Apparently they're really into these... tv shows and movies... and I guess that they like to... write stories about them. It is the weirdest thing...
Dad: Wait, what? Stories about what?
Uncle: Like, they write stories about... what they wish would happen.
Me and my friend: *repressing hysterical laughter*
Grandpa: What??? That's really..
Dad: Um, that's really weird.
Uncle: Yeah, I know, it's really weird. It's so weird.
Now I'm really curious to know what these women were writing about.
